Setting your SecureID PIN to Support the Skyworks/Sprint VPN

First:        Document your Existing Setup

 

Launch the Nortel VPN Contivity Client and write your current User Name here:

Second:     Training (Recommended)

Third:        Setup of Token / PassCode (Must Do)

 

Visit this website and follow the 7 steps at the center of the screen:

Step 1: Select the KeyFob Token type

 

 

 

Step 2:       Select    * SIDI01/SIDI02 - SecureID servers for Sprint customers

 

 

 


Step 3:      Select

“Set your PIN. (Your token must be in New PIN mode in order to set a new PIN)”  NOTE: All Skyworks accounts are in new PIN mode)

 

Select

Step 4:      

 

Username: Use your existing account name with the addition of @skyworksinc.com immediately after it.

For Example: If Your Current Login Account is  JohnD, Your New Sprint authentication account would be JohnD@skyworksinc.com

 
 

 

 

 

 


Passcode: Enter in the 6 digit number currently displayed in your SecureID Token

          Select        Next --->

 

 


Step 5:      

 

New PIN: Enter your new PIN number (4-8 characters cannot begin with zero “0”). You can use the same PIN number you have been using previously.

 

Verify PIN: Reenter your new PIN number

        Select        Next --->

 

 


Step 6:      

 

Enter Passcode: Ensure that the SecureID token has changed to its next number sequence, then enter your new pin number + the new 6 digit number displayed on the SecureID Token. This matches your account with the token fob within the system.

 

          Select          Next --->

For Example:

PIN Number is:                          7722

                   Token Display is:                       821375

PassCode would be:                  7722821375 

 

 
 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Congratulations! You have successfully set your PIN

 

 

 

 

 

Step 7:   

Launch the Nortel Extranet Client on your computer and make the necessary one time changes:

 

 

 

Step 7.1:     

Change the User Name field to reflect the addition of @skyworksinc.com

 

Step 7.2:

Change the Destination field to reflect the new IP address of 216.65.217.35

(For your reference, old address is/was 198.62.9.21)

 

Step 7.3:

Select          Save

 

Step 7.4:  

Enter your newly established PIN, and your current token display number and select Connect         

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Upon a successful connection you should see the Skyworks banner page displayed:
